Brain Inspired Spin based Artificial Intelligence
'Spintronics', spin transport electronics takes advantage of quantum mechanical spin to store and process information. Energy efficient spintronic devices, which are based on pure spin currents and carry an angular moment are currently highly explored for neuromorphic computing. We propose to use spintronic elements to design an artificial neural network and create a spin-based computer architecture.
To mimic the integrate and fire neuron model with synaptic plasticity during spike propagation, we aim to use a skyrmion based spintronic neuron.
